LOS ANGELES -  May 27, 2025 - The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has returned to the West Coast of the United States this week for the first time since the pandemic, hosting a high-energy USA Roadshow across Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco (May 27–29). Over 200 travel advisors are meeting with 22 of Kenya’s leading tourism experiences, including Virgin Hotel’s award-winning Mahali Mzuri—named the world’s #1 hotel by Travel + Leisure—and representatives from Narok County, home of the iconic Masai Mara.

With Kenya enjoying enhanced direct flight connections to North America and travel advisors playing a crucial role in destination selection, our presence in these key metropolitan centers will allow us to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and make our case on why Kenya should be the destination of choice for discerning travelers," said KTB CEO June Chepkemei.

The United States is Kenya’s #1 inbound tourism market, with 306,501 American arrivals in 2024—a 15.8% increase over the previous year. KTB is targeting a 28% growth in 2025, aiming to welcome 392,000 visitors.

During the show travel advisors will learn how to sell Kenya’s sustainable and conservation-led travel experiences, including the nation’s “One Tourist, One Tree” reforestation initiative and growing appeal as a cruise destination through its coastal ‘Blue Safari’ program”.

Advisors are encouraged to deepen their Kenya expertise through the Magical Kenya Travel Specialist program.
